Quick update,
Started working on my Star Wars stuff again and completed up this squad of Dark Stormtroopers from Skullforge Studios. Getting all of this stuff painted for a multi player game of Galactic Heroes from Wiely Games.

Is it a mix of matt and gloss black? Or is it just a lighting and camera artifact?
@daveb - Thats a mix of matt and gloss, I wanted the armor to look like it does in the Mandalorian show. I primed black, then dry brushed Black/Grey, used another dark grey, washed with Strong tone, then matt finished and then came back and hand brushed gloss. They actually look even better in person.

Black is really hard to make look good without being too much of a visual black hole or a dusty drybrush mess. These guys achieve it....clever trick using Matt's and gloss
